Raghu Murthi  , GoDaddy’s  New Head of Hosting

GoDaddy appointment of Raghu Murthi as its new head of hosting. succeeding Jeff King. who is moving onto new opportunities after being with GoDaddy since March 2013. Previously, Raghu Murthi was vice president in Amazon’s Kindle division. he was general manager for the Natural User Interface Hardware group at XBOX. He was woring Microsoft as well as. he lead the team on HW for Project Natal, now Kinect, since inception of the project.

He was instrumental in driving the system’s end to end development of the HW. he was working closely with SW team and Developer communities. Prior to leading the NUI HW team, he ran the Xbox Accessories HW team.

As mentioned in linkedin profile Raghu Murthi completed Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Biology and Chemistry at Madras Christian College ,  located in India. So,  India-born Raghu Murthi appointed  GoDaddy’s  New Head of Hosting.

Recently , GoDaddy buys Host Europe Group for $1.79 billion . With more than 1.7 million clients and seven million area names under administration.  HEG is among Europe’s greatest exclusive facilitating organizations and web specialist organizations. The arrangement is relied upon to close amid the second quarter of 2017.
